Privacy Policy

We have been established online since 1999 when the internet was just a toddler. In the years since we have been proud to publish websites which provide honest, transparent reviews. We've seen many come and go over the years. We've worked with some who made it big and other brands long lost to internet history.

We publish websites under various categories including online casino reviews and bonus news. We have published casino reviews since 2001. As well as gaming, we publish literary sites, website directories, website promotion, entertainment portals and more. Often our sites are quite general but we also do some niche stuff. We do not make websites for anyone else.

We place the highest value on your privacy. We hope our Privacy Policy is informative and reassuring because how YOU view your privacy when visiting Casino Beacon is important to us. If you don't trust the site, you will not trust the content.

Information Requests

At Casino Beacon, there are few occasions when we will require any personally identifying information from our visitors. There is no membership required to visit or use our website, no payment or subscription needed.

We do not use cookies. There's no login. Our visitor tracking is handled by Dubln-based, a website traffic stats monitoring site that's been in business since the same year we went live (1999). StatCounter might use a cookie to record your visit, in a non-identifying way. We've used them for many years and we trust them. They monitor our stats so we can analyse the traffic arriving at Casino Beacon, ie. search terms, referring websites, country of visitors, etc.

If you win a prize draw or a competition, we will need details of where to send it. If the prize is physical (ie. a TV, or a kangaroo) then we'll need a name and postal address. If the prize is online (ie. casino credit) then we'll need the name and account number of where to deposit the prize.

Newsletter Subscribers

If you choose to subscribe to receive our newsletter (do - we put some early/exclusive bonuses in there) then we will need your e-mail address. To become a subscriber, you need to opt-in. You will then need to click a confirmation link in an e-mail sent to the e-mail address you registered. This is an anti-spam approach called 'double opt-in' and prevents anyone else signing you up to our newsletter. Not everyone wants to read our amazing newsletters (weird people) and we don't particularly want to end up on a blacklist for sending out spam. So we try VERY hard to be 100% clean with our newsletters and your e-mail address.

We use the third-party services of YMLP (Your Mailing List Provider) to distribute our newsletters for us. So far, we've been happy with them. Newsletters include simple instructions on how to unsubscribe.

E-mail Spam

To say that Casino Beacon is anti-spam would be something of an understatement. Spam is bad and it pisses us off. The online casino industry sometimes receives a poor reputation for spamming - mostly as a result of unethical casinos and affiliates purchasing subscriber lists. We do not buy these lists.

Casino Beacon actively discourages and combats spam. We frequently report spam to the appropriate organisations/forums when we receive it. We take the same ethical and vigorous approach to predatory advertising (scumware/spyware).
